Foundational Family Services: Challenging Behaviour (Part 1 of 2)
April 19 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pmFree
Dealing with Challenging Behaviour – Presented by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
Challenging behaviour, that is difficult to manage. Do you have a child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who engages in challenging behaviours? If so, come join our team at Canopy Support Services as we discuss the role of four functions of behaviour that trigger challenging behaviours, strategies on how to handle challenging behaviours, and how to decrease challenging behaviours. After our first workshop with caregivers, there is the opportunity to have a follow-up individual session with one of our Clinical Supervisors and BCBAs.
This is a 2-Part workshop being held on Monday, April 19th AND Friday, April 23rd from 1-2PM. We ask that you attend both sessions for the best experience.
This workshop is funded by the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) as a Foundational Family Service.
