Foundational Family Services: Tackling Toileting
June 14 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Join us in a parent workshop on how to tackle toilet training!
This workshop is for parents who are interested in tackling toilet training for their child/youth. This group will focus on the pre-requisite or readiness skills required for toilet training, as well as helpful tools that you can use.
This group will also focus on how parents can use a variety of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) strategies including data collection, reinforcement, and prompting to teach their child to use the toilet appropriately.
Time will also be spent on how to handle accidents and what to do if you or your child is experiencing road blocks to their toilet training success!
Since this workshop is funded by the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) as a Foundational Family Service, examples provided during the workshop will tend to focus on children with a diagnosis of autism.
Tech Requirements: Must have the ability to connect to Zoom (Computer or handheld devices, such as a tablet or cellphone).
