Foundational Family Services: Video Game Night for 6-12 Year Olds

Does your child love video games? Do they struggle with Emotional Regulation Strategies?
For youth aged 6-12 to get together to discuss video games and strategies, all while practicing those hard skills in real time. There will be opportunities to play each other on different video games, with different rooms made for different video games and different consoles (i.e. ipad, Nintendo switch). We will practice starting conversations, continuing conversations, acknowledging when the other person is not interested and switching topics, dealing with losing, and being a good sport!
This group has a maximum of 10 participants.
This group runs for 4 weeks:
- Monday May 2nd from 6-7pm
- Monday May 9 from 6-7pm
- Monday May 16 from 6-7pm
- Monday May 30 from 6-7pm
Requirements: This group is intended for children and youth aged 6 -12 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Tech Requirements: Must have the ability to connect to Zoom (Computer or handheld devices, such as a tablet or cellphone)
