🌱 Teen Gardening Day🌱
Ages 12-17
Teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are invited to join us for a fun, free gardening event in a calm, inclusive, and supportive environment. This hands-on experience is designed to help teens connect with peers, learn new skills, and enjoy nature at their own pace.
What to Expect
🌼 Plant flowers, herbs, or vegetables
🎨 Decorate and personalize plant pots
🌿 Explore sensory-friendly gardening activities
🪴 Learn simple plant care tips to use at home
🤝 Connect with peers in a low-pressure, welcoming setting

Our staff will be available throughout the event to provide guidance and support, and all activities can be adapted to meet a wide range of needs, interests, and comfort levels.
No gardening experience is required—whether your teen loves gardening or is trying it for the first time, they’ll have a meaningful experience and leave with a plant creation to take home.

📍 Location: Main office @ 150 O’Carroll Ave, Peterborough
🅿️ Drop-Off Instructions: Parents and caregivers should park in the lower parking lot and head to the side doors labelled :Autism Services Clinic” An Autism Services rep will be there to meet the kids, introduce themselves, and get the fun started!
Note: This event is for children registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) and between the ages of 12 and 17. An OAP number is required to register.
