Canopy Support Services Achieves 100% Compliance and Earns Third Consecutive FOCUS Accreditation with Seal of Sustainability
Peterborough, ON – June 19th, 2026 – CANOPY SUPPORT SERVICES (Canopy) is proud to announce it has successfully achieved reaccreditation under the FOCUS Accreditation program for a third consecutive cycle, extending its accreditation status for another four years, from May 2026 to May 2030.
Following a comprehensive two-week validation process aligned with the FOCUS Accreditation 2024 standards in April 2026,
Canopy achieved 100% compliance across all 151 standards—an extraordinary milestone.
This achievement is especially significant as Canopy is the first organization to reach 100% compliance under the FOCUS Accreditation 2024 standards, and has also earned the Seal of Sustainability for successfully completing three consecutive accreditation cycles.

FOCUS Accreditation Services is a “made in Ontario” accreditation process designed to help community service organizations demonstrate commitment, quality, and accountability to the people they serve and other key stakeholders. Its standards are informed by expert advice, research, and input from Ontario citizens.
The accreditation process is conducted by a team of experienced peer validators—professionals with extensive backgrounds in human services—who assess organizations against rigorous, evidence-based criteria. For Canopy, the reaccreditation process represents more than a formal evaluation—it is a reflection of its organizational values and a commitment to transparency and excellence.
