🍂 Fall Craft Night
Get Creative This Fall!
Join us for a fun and creative Fall Craft Night designed for children ages 6–11 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Participants will enjoy a variety of seasonal craft activities in a welcoming, structured, and sensory-friendly environment where creativity and self-expression are encouraged.
This engaging program offers children the opportunity to explore fall-themed crafts while building confidence, developing social connections, and having fun with peers in a supportive setting.
🎨 What to Expect
Participants will:
Create a variety of fall-inspired crafts
Explore creativity through hands-on activities
Enjoy a supportive and sensory-friendly environment
Participate at their own pace with flexible engagement options
Access sensory breaks and staff support as needed
🤝 Social Learning Opportunities
In addition to crafting, this event provides valuable opportunities to practice and strengthen important social skills, including:
Communication and conversation skills
Sharing and turn-taking
Asking for help
Following directions
Making choices and expressing preferences
Interacting and connecting with peers
Staff will provide guidance and encouragement throughout the evening to help participants feel comfortable, successful, and included.

Location: Canopy Support Services, 150 O’Carroll Ave, Peterborough, ON. Park in the lower parking lot and enter through the doors labelled “Autism Services”
This group is designed for youth aged 8-13 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), who are registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). We can't wait to see you there! 😊
