Community Crew for Teens - Cobourg
🌟 Stepping Out in Cobourg with Confidence is perfect for teens who are ready to take the next step toward independence—on their own terms! 🌟
Stepping Out with Confidence is a 4-week Applied Behaviour Analysts (ABA)-based group designed just for teens on the Autism Spectrum who are eager to build independence, social skills, and real-world confidence—at their own pace.
Each week, teens will join a small, supportive group of peers to:
✅ Practice executive functioning skills like planning, organizing, and managing time.
✅ Build social confidence through engaging, real-life interactions.
✅ Go on guided community outings—ordering at a restaurant, navigating public spaces like the YMCA, or shopping with a purpose.
Led by experienced ABA therapists, this group provides a low-pressure, encouraging environment where teens can grow, make friends, and develop skills they'll use every day.
Group Details:
📅 Dates: Weekly from August 5th, 2026 – August 26th, 2026
⏰ Time: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
