Autism Services Group Programming - In-Person
Social Explorers (Ages 6-12)
Get ready for an exciting 8‑week adventure where kids ages 6–12 build confidence, friendship skills, and real‑world social know‑how—all in a fun, supportive environment! 🤝✨
This structured, evidence‑informed social skills program is designed to help children strengthen peer connection, understand emotions, and navigate tricky social moments with confidence. Each week, children take part in interactive activities that make learning social skills feel natural, upbeat, and engaging. 🎉
🧭 What We Explore Together
Through group games, modeling, role‑play, and guided discussions, kids will learn how to:
😊 Manage emotions in social situations
🧠 Use flexible thinking and adapt to changes
👀 Read social cues and “read the room”
🤝 Solve problems cooperatively
💬 Practice conversation skills and use shared interests to build friendships
🔄 Repair mistakes after conflict and recover confidently
🌟 Apply new skills at school, home, and in the community
Every session blends skill‑building with fun, movement, creativity, and opportunities to practice with peers. Kids leave each week feeling more prepared—and more connected.
🎉 Celebration Finale
On Week 8, we wrap up with a celebration session recognizing everyone’s growth, progress, and new social confidence! 🥳
