We are absolutely thrilled to invite you to the 4th Annual Canopy Cares Inclusivity Carnival, a joyful celebration of community, connection, and inclusion! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 19th, and join us from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the beautiful Dixon Park for a day packed with fun, laughter, and meaningful moments.
Register today for your $10 Family Pass that gets you and up to 4 family members access to all the fun including the BBQ lunch! Individuals can also register independently and bring along their support worker at no additional cost. (Fun Fact: This is an eligible Passport expense!!) It’s all part of our commitment to creating a welcoming and accessible space for everyone in our community.

The Canopy Cares Inclusivity Carnival is all about celebrating diversity and bringing people together through shared experiences. We’ve lined up an exciting roster of entertainment and activities for all ages and abilities. Enjoy live performances from local talents including Sarah Cee and the mesmerizing Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts and more to be announced.

Hungry? Grab a delicious BBQ lunch served by the friendly folks at the East City Lions. Kids and families will love the face painting, arts & crafts tent, popcorn, cotton candy, and the ever-popular “Zen Den” Sensory Tent provided by Autism Home Base. Don’t forget to get creative at our Tie Dye Station — just bring your own item to dye and make it your own - and be sure to enter to win one of our five amazing raffle prizes filled with local goodies!
We’re also welcoming back the Henna & Glitter Glam Bar, perfect for adding a little sparkle to your day. And in recognition of FASD Awareness Month, our FASD program will be hosting a special area with button making, rock painting, and other hands-on activities. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the important work this program does and how it supports our community.
