🎨 Pottery Making Night (Ages 10–14)

Create, Connect, and Build Confidence Through Art! 🌟

Join us for a fun and creative one-hour air-dry clay pottery activity designed for youth ages 10–14 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Participants will have the opportunity to design and create their own clay masterpiece while practicing important social and communication skills in a supportive, structured environment.

This hands-on group encourages creativity, self-expression, and social connection while helping participants develop valuable life skills through guided interactions with peers.

🏺 What to Expect

During the session, participants will:

  • Create their own unique air-dry clay project

  • Practice sharing materials and taking turns

  • Learn how to ask for help and communicate ideas

  • Engage in conversations with peers

  • Build teamwork and cooperation skills

  • Develop flexible thinking and problem-solving strategies

  • Follow directions and navigate changes in a supportive setting

Our staff will provide encouragement, coaching, and support throughout the activity to help participants build confidence and strengthen social skills while having fun.

🚗 Drop-Off Instructions:
Parents and caregivers should park in the lower parking lot and use the side doors to access the Autism Services Clinic. An Autism Services representative will greet your child, provide support, and help get the fun started! 🎉

Please Note: This group is designed for youth ages 10–14 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP).

Come get creative, make new friends, and discover the joy of creating with clay! 🎨✨
