A Sensory-Friendly Event for Teens on the Autism Spectrum
Join us for a fun, inclusive, and welcoming Teen Summer Bash, thoughtfully designed for teens on the autism spectrum. This sensory-friendly event creates a safe and supportive environment where teens can relax, connect with peers, and enjoy summer activities at their own pace.
💙 What to Expect
This engaging event is supported by experienced Autism Services staff who provide guidance, encouragement, and individualized support throughout the evening. Teens will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that promote:
Social interaction and peer connection
Communication skills
Emotional regulation and flexibility
Problem-solving and independence
Confidence-building in a supportive setting
All activities are thoughtfully structured to encourage meaningful participation while respecting each teen’s comfort level and preferences.

Teens can unwind during our featured movie experience—and even have a say in what we watch! Stay tuned for an opportunity to vote on the movie selection.

Location: Main Office — 150 O’Carroll Ave, Peterborough
📅 Date & Time: August 20, 2026 | 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM
🚗 Drop-Off Instructions: Parents and caregivers should park in the upper/lower parking lot and use the Main doors to access the Main Office. An Autism Services representative will greet your teen, provide support, and help get the fun started! 🎉
Please Note: This group is for children aged 13-17 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). Limited spots available!
