🧵 Friendship Bracelet Social Skills Group (Ages 10–14)

Create, Connect, and Build Friendships! 🌟

Join us for a fun and creative one-hour friendship bracelet activity designed for youth ages 10–14 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Participants will have the opportunity to design and make their own friendship bracelets while practicing important social and communication skills in a supportive, structured environment.

This hands-on group encourages creativity, self-expression, and social connection while helping participants build meaningful skills through guided interactions with peers.

🤝 What to Expect

During the session, participants will:

  • Create their own colorful friendship bracelets

  • Practice sharing materials and taking turns

  • Learn how to ask for help and make choices

  • Follow directions and complete a step-by-step project

  • Engage in conversations with peers

  • Build social communication and cooperation skills

  • Develop flexible thinking and problem-solving strategies

  • Practice working alongside others in a positive group setting

Our staff will provide support, encouragement, and coaching throughout the activity to help participants feel successful, confident, and connected.

🚗 Drop-Off Instructions:
Parents and caregivers should park in the lower parking lot and use the side doors to access the Autism Services Clinic. An Autism Services representative will greet your child, provide support, and help get the fun started! 🎉

This group is designed for youth ages 10–14 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP).
